At GenZ Tennis we strive to achieve the good results in terms of skills, body and mind that help our students to perform better in this sport. Once we start sessions with young students our primary aim is to develop interest for this sport and subsequently cultivate their interest into the passion. We are successful in this coaching strategy hence we have an excellent record of developing students from beginner level to elite level players.
GenZ players have been selected in the PSSA State Carnivals, State Championship events, invited to participate in the City vs Country challenge, invited in the inter-district tennis and Sydney Tennis Leauge (STL) events and also been part of Super 10's. Our players have won many Round Robin tournaments across Sydeny and have achieved tennis rankings in both Australian Ranking (AR) tournaments and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) tournaments. We have also visited the Rafa Nadal Academy at Mallorca, Spain. Our players achieved great results in their inter-club tournaments and also received overwhelming feedback on their techniques and fitness.
We strongly believe in our 'philosophy of success'. We set long term goals but work hard every day without any excuse. We focus on developing accurate techniques, solid physique and never give up attitude that is essential to play competitive tennis. We give our hundred percent in whatever we do, do it with passion and with full heart. We have dreams and goals however we are not in a race. We don’t chase the numbers rather we compete with ourselves, focus on self progress and continuously update the numbers that matter to a tennis player such as body weight, fitness, agility, serve speed, power in shots etc. The most important goal remains getting skilled and make overall progress in physical, mental/physiological and spiritual health that matters in a life of an individual. Tennis is an extremely competitive sport hence success in tennis is not always a win but the fighting spirit, resilience and perform to the best of abilities is also counted as success. Therefore our success mantra is 'We may lose but we will never fail'. We firmly believe that playing a sport that one is passionate about should bring great satisfaction, sense of pride and eternal happiness. After all, Happiness is the ultimate success in life!
At GenZ Tennis we offer sessions that suit the requirements of
players of different levels.
We recommend an early start at
the age of 4 years for better results. We offer the group sessions
only for the beginner young kids. All other kids may start with
private and/or semi-private sessions depending on the prior playing
experience. For details about our sessions, please navigate through
the tabs below.
Private tennis coaching is the best way for players wanting to fast track their tennis development and reach their full potential.
Private tennis coaching is also a great idea for those who are learning tennis for the first time. The coach can teach you the basics so you can get up to speed quickly, and join a group of other players who are at the same level.
Duration: 30 mins / 1 hour
Semi-private tennis coaching is two pupils and one coach. It is the same from the cost point of view but it is effective for players wanting to get into competitions.
In the semi-private sessions, ideally both players will be of a similar ability. Hence semi-private session may not be an immediate option for players who are joining the academy. We need time to arrange a player who is interested to pair and is on the same level.
Duration: 1 hour
One of the best ways to engage players in the game of tennis is to get them playing competitions. Competitions can add a lot of value to players. It will drive their game ahead by inspiring them to work towards improving and reaching the next level, ultimately provide them with a sense of achievement.
We have competition groups for all levels i.e. Red Ball,
Orange Ball, Green Ball and Yellow Ball (Beginner,
Intermediate, Elite) that runs every week.
Duration: 1 hour
The elite squad is an invitational only session. It consists of players who are technically developed and ready for tournaments. The elite squad is usually recommended for the competition/tournament players. It consists of fitness, tennis drills, serving and points play.
The elite squad players get tournament mentoring during the ranking tournaments. We put lot of extra efforts on players who are participating in the tournaments to make sure they perform to the best of their ability in tournaments.
Duration: 2 hours
Fitness is the most important aspect in tennis. Since tennis is a highly physical sport, an athlete must have good footwork, stamina and strength. Tennis is also a very mental sport so good mental fitness is a key.

Thursday - Core Strength and Legs : To

We work under the Tennis Australia guidelines. We run the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Programs which are designed for children from 5 years old to 12, so naturally participants are going to be at different development levels. This is why it has been structured with different stages.
Each stage of the program’s progressive levels is represented by a
colour.
Red: 5-8 years
Orange: 8-10 years
Green:
9-12 years
When the players progress through all these stages they are moved to yellow ball
These are oversized balls with 25% compression. These are the lowest bouncing balls and travel through the air slower, making them ideal for beginners and players under 8.
These are normal sized tennis balls, however have 50% compression. As the players skills develop and they move to the program’s orange stage, they will begin to use these balls.
In the final stage of ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, typically for older participants aged between 9 and 12, normal-sized green balls with 75% compression are used.
The regular yellow balls are 100% compression so bounce higher, which is not ideal for juniors. It is best for players not to use these balls until they have progressed through the ANZ Tennis Hot Shot program and their skills have developed enough to move to using full-sized courts and equipment.
GenZ players have been selected to play at state level events. They
have also been part of invitational events. Our players have won
many Round Robin tournaments across Sydeny and achieved tennis
rankings in the Australian Ranking (AR) tournaments and Universal
Tennis Ranking (UTR) tournaments which are supposedly junior
professional tournaments.
We have GenZ tournament per term
and GenZ Weekly Competitions to help our players perform better in
these tournaments.
These are our most successful players
across all levels who have been participating and consistently
performing well in tournaments and competitions. Take a look!
